Buy a bigger size than you think you need, go at least 1 size larger if not 2. I know this because this is my 6th purchase and I still love them. I have gained 60 pounds this last pregnancy and have every intention of losing it all again. These are amazing suits. I wear them while walking an hour in the morning & evening and to go to sleep in. The weight seems to melt off in all the right places. When I wear them under clothes, I look good even before the weight comes off. I follow the "Impatient Dieter" guidelines and in about 2 months with these compression suits, the weight is GONE. ***ALSO*** After having a C-Section, these help tremendously!!! As with other Pearl Izumi products, these fitted tights are flattering and comfortable--and this is coming from someone who does not like wearing anything too fitted. The padding in the saddle fits well, not too bulky.

As a caveat: although they are called "thermal", I don't think that they would work well for folks living in cold climates. I wore them out yesterday with temps in the high 30's and they were not really warm enough. I would say that if you're cycling in temps of 40s or 50s, they'll be fine. Anything colder than that, and you'll want something heavier or you'll need to layer.

This is my nicest Halloween costume ever. I struggled with the ears to stand up like they are supposed to, but it is well made and really nice. I'm six four and the phrase "one size fits all" is a complete myth. But it actually fits me quite well. I like this one. As for the pajamas, I'm not sure how Aunt Edna thought we were going to sleep in this with two ten inch ears and a tail to boot? It's also nice and warm.

What can I say here...Keep up the good work Columbia. Once again an awesome product. perfect jacket for these chilly Colorado mornings. I have used this jacket in the snow and it seems to repel any sort of moisture and keeps me nice and dry. So why one star? What's up with the title of this review? You guessed it...the hood started to come apart after very little use. I didn't abuse this product by any means. I collect lots of gear and I hike all through Colorado and Wyoming. I have thousands of dollars in Columbia gear. Shoes, boots, pants, shirts, jackets, rain gear, tents and camping equipment. I contacted Columbia about this issue and their response was we can't help you. We can't send you a replacement hood as there is only one per jacket made. They also had the nerve to tell me that we know this is frustrating that we can't help you but we do hope you continue to use our products. I contacted a manager and was given the same answer. Our product was defective but sorry we can't help you at all. We know it's frustrating. So Columbia makes some pretty good gear I think. My only issue is it's a gamble and I'm so not a gambler. I plan on returning every piece of Columbia owned gear I can and switching brands due to their responses. It's absolute terrible customer service like this that will cause me to switch brands. Sorry Columbia but you will no longer receive my thousands of hard earned dollars.
