This coat has a great fit for athletic shoulders and arms, but the waist is loose (imo, huge on houseglasses/pears) and hips are a little tight compared to the Merrell sizing chart and other Merrell coats if you have a big hip-waist ratio and need a roomier fit for running to a bus stop or other frantic movements in a coat. Probably the ideal coat for all the apple shaped ladies, and seems like it would be a great fit for taller gals, so the only reason that I had to take a star off was my pear/Golidalocks needs for a coat. :)

This is a wonderful versatile coat for a lot of weather conditions, and a great fit for athletic and larger curvy figures, especially in larger sizes compared to options offered by competitors. I really want this coat in more colors since it has a great modern style, great construction that looks like it will hold up to travel and nasty weather for years! Really plush and expensive looking coat, comparable to designer looks but with a hiking pedigree! It doesn't pack down too tight for travel if you're a one-bag traveler, but it is a wonderful and versatile coat for daily use.
