IT Luggage World's Lightest IT-0-1 Second Generation 22" Carry-On (Purple) Review

Last year I saw this new type of lightweight luggage in an airport. I loved the colors but not the price tag. Also the model I tried had 4 wheels and surprisingly did not roll easily in the two wheel mode, which I prefer. That brand was French, I do not believe IT is. The box said this piece itself was made in China. The price was 25% of what I saw originally and I was excited to try this two wheel carry-on model.

My other hesitation with the French brand was the big front pocket was difficult to access with the flap. That is not true on this IT piece and my laptop slipped right in. I like the second pocket which does have a flap, but is the correct size for travel documents or a Kindle. The dimensions are right on for a carry on bag. There are 4 small net pockets(no depth)on the inside lid that may prove useful for underwear and the lining does zip so you can access the frame of the bag.

It may take some time to adjust to the wide handle which does not lock and I will see this weekend when I use it for the first time whether a super light bag will prove easy or just flimsy.
