I am barely 5'4" and weighed in this morning at 190 pounds. I finally broke down and bought a shaper because, while my work clothes do not currently fit, I am taking measures so that I won't be this big long enough to warrant the expense of buying new clothes.

This thing is hard. Core.

I am normally a 39 waist with a belly measuring 43 inches. With this on (I bought a large) I go down to 36 and 39 inches, respectively. It's snug, I'm packed in, but it's comfortable enough to wear all day. It doesn't compress my curvy backside, and it gives my bust a nice lift. The shoulder straps dig a bit, but I didn't loosen them out of the packaging, so take that with a grain of salt. The torso does not slip or ride up, though it does bunch a bit at the small of my back (noticeable to feel, but not visibly.) A taller woman would likely not have this problem. The panties ride up very slightly, but honestly no more than any pair of briefs do for me.

It's precisely what I wanted, and it's doing exactly what I needed it to do. Five stars.
