Carhartt's waterproof breathable pant works as hard as you do. Made of a durable waterproof breathable and wind-resistant nylon outer shell, it features a polyester mesh lining from knee down and full-leg two-way zippers with double storm channel flaps. It also has a chap-style double-front with cleanout bottoms that can accommodate knee pads.

These pants are nice but I bought the medium and after trying them on they were way too long! I am 5'7" 150lbs and wear Levis 569 32x30 jeans. Knowing Carhartt runs big I called Carhartt for sizing info before I exchanged or returned the item. This is what they said for both medium and small regular sizes:
B216 Waterproof breathable pant:
Small regular-- Length: 31in, Waist: 29in relaxed thru 35in extended.
Medium regular-- Length: 31in, Waist: 33in relaxed thru 39in extended.
Tall sizes are 33 inches in length with the same waist sizes.

Keep in mind that Carhartt runs big so a regular 31' inseam is really more like a 33' inseam, and that is way too long for someone who needs a true 30' inseam. The medium went about three inches past the heel of my foot with shoes on. So I returned the product. When will Carhartt start making sizes for smaller people? This is not the first time I have run into this problem with them. How 'bout some "short" sizes Carhartt???

Note: The above sizing specs also apply to the Acadia Waterproof Breathable pants. So while they my be too long for a 30' inseam, if you can live with the puffyness and swishing sound when you walk, you might be able to make them work because they are much lighter material and have elastic around the ankles to keep them from falling down past your heel. I however went with Viking brand at my local work store.
