If you are looking for a very light case, this might be the best. It has a double locker instead of a zipper, so you may either carry-on or check it.
If you are looking for a real hard side and very resistant case, try something else: this one is so flexible (despite not as much as a Delsey Helium) and, if you check it in, perhaps you will have problems, both with the case and with its contents.
