High Sierra� �s Tech Series is the latest line of our internal frame packs. Titan 55 is our newest 55-liter, top-load main compartment with gusseted drawstring closure and adjustable top lid. Also features a front-load sleeping bag compartment with divider. S-shaped ERGO-FIT shoulder strap harness with load-lifters adjust to fit trimmer torso. High-density foam padded back panel, with large AIRFLOW � channels and uniquely contoured internal frame structure, helps keep your back cool and dry. Hinged front pocket, with mesh side gussets, can hold ropes or other gear. Lightweight nylon fabric sports convenient webbing daisy chain on the front, padded grab handles on both sides and a removable media pocket attached to the backpack strap. Also included is an internal hydration reservoir sleeve and dual exit ports for tube (reservoir not included). Adjustable side and bottom compression straps and adjustable sternum strap stabilizes pack. Soft lashing hardware holds ice ax/hiking poles. Dual mesh pockets hold 1000ml water bottles. Convenient zippered pockets on padded waist belt are ideal for quick- reach items. Tuck-away rain cover, stored in a bottom pocket, also protects the pack when checked for air travel.

We are going on a 2-night, 3 day backpacking trip next weekend up the South Sister in central Oregon, and will be putting these packs to the test. I'll update my review at that time. My boyfriend and I each purchased one. First impression was good out out of the box. It was quite easy to adjust to my frame, 5'6" female, and my BF 5'9". We both have a lean torso, so having the flexibility there was important. MANY pockets! We noticed right away we'll need to buy compression bags for our sleeping bags, as ours aren't mummy bags and will take up a ton of room. The separate sleeping bag compartment seems a little small, but there are so many compartments and can unzip the divider, so I think it's a non-issue. They are super light empty also. I love that they are already hydration pack (blatter bag) ready and also an outer mesh holder for a water bottle. We'll see how they measure up next weekend!

UPDATE - 9/17/12. The 3 day bakpacking trip was a success. We loved our bags. Very roomy and adjustable. Found them to be durable and functional. I would recommend this pack to anyone.
