Dosh Luxe 6-Card Wallet in Turismo Review

If you are a wallet user that prefers to carry around a lot of cards, cash, or other things... read no further; this wallet is NOT for you. BUT! If you are of the same mind as I and prefer "a less is best" approach you might like this Dosh wallet.

I would first like to point out that I previously owned and used Jimi wallets for the last few years. They are of the same concept of minimal capacity and are also made of plastic. They were just a bit boxy in style and the closing clasp tended to break over time. Regardless they were durable and fulfilled my needs. But, I wanted a change in style.

The Dosh billfold money clip wallet definitely has a modern and innovative look. The feel of it is surprisingly soft for the polymer material (but its no leather or suede) and its as durable as I treat it. I know at some point its going to get scuffed or scratched (like all wallets do), so its to be expected. The money clip is pretty damn sturdy and holds my bills in real tight. In fact my only gripe is that the money clip does its job a bit too well sometimes, but I'll just adapt to it.

So if you don't carry around a lot of cards or cash; and you want a stylish looking wallet with a slight geeky feel to it... This Dosh wallet might be for you. I'm definitely enjoying mine!

Revise (April 2013)
The wallet is still going strong. Surprisingly its outer surface barely looks scratched, but my card slots does have some wear on them. The slots still hold all my cards in without slipping out, even with shaking. (I'd like to point out the only time a card has ever slipped out was due to excessive force, like dropping and kicking it). Another added bonus is that the wallet stands well on any dry surface without slipping, providing a teepee style stand to lean my cellphone against. I'm still a happy Dosh owner.
